This is a very unique idea and I absolutely adore this! Macro's can be difficult to capture, especially then the object is so tiny but you did a fabulous job. I like that you chose to take this in a soft black and white, as well. It brings a whole different feeling towards the image. I also love that the needle and thread isn't centered, more than anything! That may be my favourite part of this photograph.
You definitely get a 5/5 on vision, originality, technique, and impact. This brings a whole new meaning to beauty and I appreciate it, love it, and admire it.

I really like that you chose a subjet matter out of the norm. It's unique and the composition is very strong. The slight bokeh from the other needles is pleasing but could be more prominent to give the 'forest' in the title a little more support.

There is a very nice contrast and tone throughout the image and the black and white work very nicely here.

I do feel the line that runs diagonally accross this image is a bit distracting but not horribly so. I would also have really liked to see more sharpness on the thread coming forward from the needle. Being the focal point of the image that would have truly made this an outstanding piece but it seems the focus wasnt quite where you would have wanted it but that is a common issue with macro photography.

Over all I love that you have done something different! The composition and the choice of black and white give a wonderful feel to this piece and I believe this is a wonderful style for you.
